The audition dates of the city editions for PFMI 2012 pageant are as under:

Jaipur – 6 January 2012
Ahmedabad – 7 January 2012
Indore – 11 January 2012
Chandigarh – 17 January 2012
Shimla – 18 January 2012

Last Date for Registration : 26th January 2012

Between 18 yrs – 24yrs as on 31st Dec 2012
Height 5.7” & above
Unmarried
Born Indian National with valid Indian passport

The Semi Finals of Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2012 will take place in Delhi and Mumbai on 21 January 2012 and 28 January 2012 respectively (venue to be disclosed soon). The qualifying finalists will then take part in the main pageant on 17 March 2012 that’ll crown the three Miss Indias – Miss India-World, Miss India-Earth and Miss India-International.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant must agree to abide by all rules, as changed from time to time by the organisers.
2. The applicant should be between 18 and 23 years of age as on 31st December 2009. The applicant will be required to produce their age proof (Passport, birth certificate, school leaving certificate, driver’s license, etc).
3. The applicant should not/have not been married, and should never have had a marriage annulled or never given birth to a child; have never been pregnant nor been a parent. If any of these conditions change, the applicant must notify the organizers immediately.
4. The applicant should be a natural born female.
5. The applicant should be a bonafide Indian citizen.
6. The applicant or the applicant’s immediate family should not be related to any person employed in ABSL, TIML, TIL, Bennett Coleman & Company Limited, or any other company of the Times Group, contest sponsors, and their sub- contractors, or any of the judges as informed to the applicant at any stage. In case of such a relation, the applicant must disclose the same immediately.
7. The applicant should not be under any commercial contract with any modeling agency at the time of appearing for the auditions.
8. The applicant once short listed cannot be a part of any other commercial contract or pageant.
9. The organisers are not responsible for any delays or non-receipt of applications on any account and for any reason whatsoever.
10. The applicant should not have won the pageant previously.
11. The regional round expenses (Travel & Stay) will have to be borne by the participant.
12. The applicant will have to participate in a disciplined and diligent manner throughout as per schedule given.
13. The organisers are not responsible if the sponsors do not make good the prizes promised by them.
14. The organisers are not responsible for any loss or physical injury that occur to the applicant on account of their participation in the event. The applicant will participate at her own risk and can have no claim against ABSL or any other Times of India group company in any regard.
15. Incorrect information will result in disqualification, whether discovered prior to, during or after participation.
16. The decision of the judges is final in all cases.
17. Only persons of good health and moral character can participate.
18. Only the applicant will be allowed inside the designated venue of the preliminaries.
19. The schedule of events and qualification rounds are subject to change at the discretion of the organisers.
20. The organisers are not responsible for non-completion / non-occurrence of the event.
21. In the event of any dispute, the organisers decisions are final and binding on the applicant.
22. The courts of Mumbai have the jurisdiction over all disputes.

Beauty pageants have always been associated with the elegance and grace. There are a couple of pageants for Indian women to showcase their talent, but the Femina Miss India Pageant is the oldest and most glamorous in the country. The Times of India group has the heritage of over four decades of conducting the only credible beauty pageant for women, Femina Miss India in all its classiness and grandeur.

As you are aware, over the years Femina Miss India pageant has changed considerably, and this year to make the pageant aspirational and take it to the next level, we plan to conduct year round activities encompassing various elements.
